    It is great for me to read your journal. It is December and I will be going to the States for my bypass surgery. I believe this will be in February or March. I am a little nervous so reading your journal has been a real benefit,

    this is the first time since my surgery in dec of2007 that ireached out to any site or person because i did it for me but if anyone has a thought or ? please email or i was 306 the day of surgery on again 12 13 2007 today as i write this iam 201 it has been a journey i have so much to share i can go for days like the gym the food the woman the positive feelings the awnsers the looks the ? i need to share if u have any one please have them write me i am looking to share this unbelivable story

    good for you Scott i am 4 weeks before my surgury and tips on the pre diet would be helpful, and any tips on excercise that can be done to reduce the excess skin would also be helpful, can you tell me did you lose any hair i have read that this can happen and need to know if it is a myth

    Hey I am heading into surgery on Tuesday. You look awesome. It is so motivating to look at before and after photos of people having the surgery. I am slightly nervous. It is crazy but I think about will I know exactly what I will be able to eat.

    Thanks for sharing your story. It is motivation for those of us who are looking surgery in the face. Wish me luck and keep up the awesome job becoming the new you.

    hi brad my name is john i had gastric bypass on june 4 of 2008 and by reading your story its almost like i wrote it myself . when i first started the program my weight was 343lbs i am now down to 212 lbs i work out 4 times a week .i'm 55 years old and feel like a million bucks people don't know who i am any more when i walk by them untill i open my mouth then they realize its me with that big italian mouth haha .but any wayi;m still trying to lose another 17lbs to reach my goal weight of 195 .and by looking at your photos you should give yourself a big pat on your back .its very hard to talk to anoter man about the surgery because i dont know any other men who had it done and we mightr experence difference things then woman do .hope to hear from you so we can talk more . keep up the good work yourself. johnny.g

    thank you so much for the info you look great i am 4 weeks from my op
    and have to start the diet in 2 any suggestions, and i know its a personal question but do you have a lot of excess skin i am about 252lbs, there is so much info to take in its mind blowing so many questions i want to ask
