My latest gadget – The Pulse Smartpen
how are you? i'm so glad i found your blog. i jst had gastric bypass and im bummed at thinking that i will never be able to eat mexican food or pancakes or pasta or ceral (cold) or cake so i have been depressed. can you tell me what you eat and how long after surgery were you able to eat that type off food.
I know how you feel and I'm hear to tell you, it gets better. Everybody gets back to 'normal' foods differently...took me about 2-3 months but I can eat pretty much whatever I want now. This time is the best time for you to focus on YOU and your body, don't sweat the small stuff.
Also, if you're interested, we have a GB community we've started here at http://gastricbypass.ning.com
If you can help me out i'd appreciate it. I was able to log onto the Ning site with no problem until today.
I can't do anything about your login, I don't control that part of it. Just make sure to use your old email address to get in and then go into your settings and update it to the new email address afterwards.
FYI, tried to send to your new Yahoo address and got an email failure. Hope you see this message!
Sorry for the confusion.... I'm still not sure what happened.
Thanks for the help on this.
Norma
Don't worry about plateaus - we all hit them. I'm about 50 lbs from goal and just up'ed my exercise levels to try and race to the finish. I hit a plateau a few months ago and realized that I'd just been going out a bit too much ... restarants pack on the calories, even when you're only eating a teeny bit.
I just started a new workout challenge on Gyminee and I've lost 5 lbs this week. I'll be sure to add you so you can check it out as well.
In the meantime - best of luck to you. I'm down over 150 lbs and determined to get down to 130 by summer.
